Co-founder and co-curator with Paola Antonelli (MoMA). Design and Violence launched in 2013 as an on-line curatorial experiment on the MoMA website. It brought together controversial, provocative, and compelling design projects with leading voices from outside of design to explore the relationships between creation, destruction, design and everyday experience. Our aim as curators was to challenge ourselves and our community to consider the mutant forms violence takes in contemporary society and the role of design in engendering—or not—those forms.
